Lyle C. Buckbee, age 91 of Neenah, formerly of the Clintonville area, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home with his wife at his side.

Lyle Cecil Buckbee was born September 12, 1932 in the Township of Larrabee, Waupaca County, son to the late Cecil & Viola (Ewald) Buckbee. He attended school in Marion and graduated with the class of 1950. Lyle met his future wife Jeanne Dempster at the Caroline Ballroom and the couple was later united in marriage on October 14, 1953 in Clintonville. He served his country in the Army Reserves and was later honorably discharged. Lyle worked at the Clintonville Feed Mill for a time, he did some farming, but the majority of his working years was with Farm Equipment Sales, Clintonville. After retiring in 1994, he still worked part-time with Gretzinger Sales and Service. As a long-time member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville, Lyle served as both an usher and an elder. After fully retiring, Lyle and Jeanne spent 17 winters down in Haines City, FL, where he worked part-time at SeaWorld. Lyle cherished family gatherings where he could visit and love on his grandchildren.
